Life was simple this Deepavali and the Celebrations had only one objective- "Whack as hard as possible!". All day long we did nothing but Gym but this time round, it is such a huge event in Clementi Sports Hall. Well, the Gym Session consisted of almost everyone we used to go gym with. There is the WGC Gang (Me, Jian Hong, Steve and Tuan Wee), there is the SIM Gang (Me, Wee Kiat), Bukit Batok 288B cum Dragonboat Gang (Me, Samuel and Benjamin). Well, the gang is still within the legal context since the maximum for a gathering was five people.
What really surprised me was Tuan Wee's arrival. Well, he is my understudy during Army and he is suppose to be in Australia. Now he is back! It had been a really long time since I last saw him. However, it is sad to learn that he has to forsake that half year study there due to the change in course structure which effectively extended his course by another one year.
The Gym was really fruitful with the usual routine between me and wee kiat. The occasional rests between sets is being enhanced with all those hearty chats with the Gangs talking bout their current life and how had the rest of them been and such. Well, they did kept on making fun of my weight loss these days and how dragon boat had trained me these days.
A full 3 hour session concluded and we headed to IMM for a meal in Ajisen Ramen. We had a hearty chat there and the meal was really enjoyable. For a long time, we finally got together to eat a meal. The last time was all the way back in Mid June where Tuan Wee is just about to leave for Australia.
I am glad that everyone is doing just fine. Well, Jian Hong is rushing in NUS and doing fine; Steve has a well planned degree education coming up and have a decent job now; Tuan Wee may had just stopped school but I suppose he has some great plans ahead to make up for it; Samuel and Company is progressing well, doing things that he likes; Wee Kiat enjoying every moment of the gym sessions we are having despite the hectic work load and school. I am really relieved. Hopefully, more of such outings would come...
